  46. DESCRIPTION
  47.  
  48.      ARCHandler is a filesystem that allows you to use
  49.      lha-archives as if they where directories. The files in
  50.      the archives can be used like normal files: you can
  51.      read, view and/or execute them.
  52.  
  53. NEW FEATURES
  54.  
  55.      Major changes since release 2.0:
  56.      -When an extracted file is closed it isn't immediatly
  57.       deleted. When the same file is opened again in a short
  58.       time, the file doesn't have to be reextracted.
  59.      -You can now use devices and assigns in the root
  60.       directory.
  61.      -Sometimes an archive whose contents wasn't yet
  62.       completely parsed was already flushed. This generated
  63.       several Enforcer hits.
  64.      -ARCHandler could lock up when you used it to access
  65.       archives in archives.
  66.      -French and German translations.
  67.  
  68.      Check the included documentation for a complete list of
  69.      changes.

  71. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  72.  
  73.      ARCHandler needs Kickstart/Workbench 2.04 or newer and
  74.      1Meg of memory. Altough ARCHandler works with
  75.      floppydisks, a harddisk is recommended.

  77.      To extract files from archives, ARCHandler uses the
  78.      'LhA' command (Copyright (c) Stefan Boberg), both the
  79.      evaluation and registered version should work.
